There are so many Traditions for Christmas, My tradition for Christmas is we always get to open one present on Christmas Eve and we always eat lobster and crab Christmas night. I was always told that there is a big fat jolly man, with a white beard that would come down my chimney. He would deliver presents to me and I get to see them in the morning and open them with all of my family. His name was Santa Claus, people told me that he would deliver toys to boys and girls all over the world on Christmas night. He would ride his sleigh with his 10 reindeer and they'd fly across the night sky. You always have to leave cookies and milk for him to eat because it's pretty hard to go around the whole world in one night and deliver toys to all the boys and girls. You little pine tree will become a Christmas tree people will cut you down and put you in their house hang ornaments on you and lights and make you look all pretty and put a star on top of you. This is what I was always told but of course you're going to have to see for yourself.

If I could explain Christmas to a young pine tree I would say that Christmas is a traditional holiday for many all over the world. Everyone celebrates Christmas differently. Most people decorate a tree like some people put popcorn on their tree and some people put a little trains under their tree. Christmas is also celebrated by singing Christmas songs, food and having family gatherings. There are some people that don't celebrate Christmas at all. My family celebrates Christmas by going up to the snow and cutting a tree down to put in our living room. We put the tree in a stand with water and decorate it with lights and ornaments. To me this is the most important part of Christmas because we do it as a family. This also gives Santa a place to put the presents he brings Christmas morning,

Dear little Christmas tree Christmas is very fun you get presents to put presents under you. You get a lot of Christmas parties. You are the main part of Christmas and stand tall in a household. You also get to see all the kids when the come in to the house and open presents.

Dear pine sapling, I heard you wanted to learn about christmas! Christmas is about family. Everyone celebrates Christmas differently. For example, Some people like to go out and cut down their own live tree. Others go out and buy artificial trees Everyone likes to decorate their tree in their own special way. There are tinsel, ornaments, and toppers to suit anyone's taste. Some ornaments are even passed down through family and becomes a tradition to put them on the tree. In my family we have a pickle ornament that my mom, dad or grandma hides in the tree and me and my sister have to find it, If one of us finds it we get a prize. Every year it is hide really well I usually don’t find it because I'm oblivious but it’s still really fun.
