Dear future pcms 6th graders
Pcms is one of the best school ever i really like it here. Pcms is a small school and i think that's why i like it here so much that and because the teacher are awesome. One thing you need to do to be successful is try your best give it your all and don't give up you can do it. Some of my favorite thing at pcms is how this school isn't very big the reason why i like this school begin small is because you get to know everyone better and you make way more friends another thing i really like is pie day. Pie day is wear some students get to throw pie at the other students. My favorite class is english because miss behlke is an awesome teacher and i love how we do blogs and all the art stuff we do. One thing that is really hard for me at pcms is not talk during flag that's a challenge but if i do say so myself i would say i'm getting better at it.

Dear future PCMS student,
First of all, welcome to PCMS. Congratulations on getting pulled for the lottery. You are so lucky to now be a part of our small family. I have a few tips for you before you start your first year at PCMS. My first tip is to always do your homework, and I know that you're thinking of how you hear this silly phrase all the time. But this is only because it’s so true, I can’t emphasize how much doing your homework will academically support your time here at PCMS. Plus if you don’t complete your homework you will have to miss out on really fun group activities. My second tip is to not be intimidated by the teachers. Trust me, I know that some of the teachers here can be a bit intimidating. But if you just pay attention in class and continue to be respectful throughout the whole year, you will see that the teachers are just here to teach you and support you along the way. Which leads me to my next tip which is to never be embarrassed to ask for help. I understand that sometimes when you ask for help in front of your classmates, you get the feeling that people will think you're stupid. Well the truth is that nobody immediately gets things as soon as they’re taught them. Adding on to that, usually once you ask your question a lot of your classmates are relieved too because they probably had the same question. This is a win-win because not only are you helping yourself to properly understand what you're learning, but you're also helping your fellow 6th graders understand too. My final tip is to socialize and make friends. If you make an effort to grow your friend tree, this school will feel more like a little family. It’s also just nice to see a friendly face every once in awhile, or to know that you always have a friend to turn to. Hopefully these tips will support you throughout your time as a PCMS student. Thank you for your time, and good luck 6th grader!Go get em tiger. *gives you a cheese thumbs up*.
Many hugs,
Marissa Stuermer (Missy)

Dear Future PCMS 6th Grader,

My name is Kara Hayes. I am now a seventh grader. Here are a few things you need to know to be successful here at PCMS.
1. Don't let Mr. Palmer scare you. He’s the skinny guy with the floppy blond hair. He is crazy. He does have bad jokes. But he is awesome. He wants what’s best for you. The rumors you hear aren’t true. He does throw his chair on the ground. But never at you.
2. Mrs. Behlke is the nicest 6th Grade teacher. She makes learning fun. Sometimes she’ll give you ridiculous blogs. These blogs are just ways for her to get to know you better.
3. Blaschke is scary the first few weeks but warms up to you.
4. People say it’s really hard to get an A. Nope. It’s the other way around. It’s actually really hard to fail here.
5. Mr. Palmer has really horrible jokes, calls himself Batman, claims that he has abs (which he doesn’t), and he CAN’T count to four. Oh, and he also yells at crows.
6. Enjoy Shady Creek. Try EVERYTHING they have to offer. That’s what I did. And I had an amazing time. You only get to go once, so make it the best week you’ve ever had.
7. P.E. is hard. At least for me. Just try your best.
8. Don’t be nervous. I was scared on the first day of school here. You will be too. Just don’t worry about anything. The teachers here are amazing and want what’s best for you.
9. Try to make friends. It’ll help you a LOT.
Best Wishes,
Kara Hayes

Dear future P.C.M.S. 6th grader, you will need to know many things. Pay attention in all classes. Do not annoy the teachers. Make the teachers happy. My favorite part of the year is Mr. Palmer's class and some of the activities in Mrs. Behlke. My most challenging part of the year has to be one of the science projects.

Dear Future PCMS Students,
Hello I'm Sarah, I'd like to let you know some of the things you may want to know about PCMS from my own opinion. The first thing that is important to know is : You will survive if your best friend is going to a different school! I know it is very hard to leave your friends and it is really tempting to just decide to go be with your friends at their middle school, however, PCMS IS A MUCH BETTER/LESS DRAMATIC SCHOOL!!!!!!!! I cannot emphasize enough that PCMS is such a great school, not just for education but it is also a great opportunity to find new friends. My favorite part of the year was probably when we came back from Shady Creek. I really enjoyed coming back from shady creek because I felt as if I knew Mrs.Behlke, Mr.Blaschke, and my classmates much better than I did before. The negative part of this blog is actually quite hard to find a negative about PCMS, but my negative is more of a note to self. I wish at the beginning of the school year I would’ve felt more comfortable being myself, this isn’t really anyone's fault I just was a little afraid of guys and girls in upper grades which is just a part of moving to a new school.

Dear Future PCMS 6th Grader,
Honestly I don’t even know where to start. I’ll start with my first period & go on, Mr. Palmer/Midder P.(street name) is one of the best teachers here i have known him for a really long time & I still don’t known everything about him, he has such a humorous character & I can’t wait for you guys too meet him. Second, we have Mr. Blaschke, I have learned so much from him & i think you will be really interested in his class just always make sure to not get in trouble. Third, we have Mrs. Behlke & she will always be one of my favorite teachers because she is really nice but then when it's time to get work done she's serious. Last we have Mrs. Larson, she is the P.E teacher also with Mr. Palmer but she is really fun & nice, she is one of my favorite P.E teachers ever. Theres also one more person he’s the principle. I known some of you are probably like “Uhhhhhh the Principle he’s the meanest one there” but actually he’s probably the nicest one at this school. He will always be nice & even if you make a mistake he will forgive you because that's how we learn, He teaches a few electives also & if I were you I would try to get into his model building class in the last quarter, it's really fun.
Sincerely,
Brady Bettencourt

Dear future PCMS 6th grader,
First off I want to get started with saying welcome to our small family! We're small but mighty. Anyway congrats on either being pulled for the lottery or your siblings being pulled. (Tell them Thank you, you will by the end of the year so get it done now.) So, I have a few tips and guidelines for you to start off your first year here at PCMS. First, I know it may seem like you barely know anyone but by the end of the year you´ll know and be friends with everybody! Even the 7th and 8th graders! Secondly, always get your homework done and turned in on time! It is so important! It may not seem like it but, these grades will reflect on your future so work smart.
Also, don't be intimidated by the teachers or Karen or Mr. Reid and really try not be intimidated by Mr. Faith at least try. The staff here are your friends trust me! They all care for you and want you to have the best possible three years here at PCMS in your life! My last thing to say is to always have fun. This is the time when you are still adjusting to being in middle school but just remember be yourself and have fun! You will make the closest friends here at PCMS! You'll love it here!
Love your new friend,
Aubrey Salas
(P.S. I'll probably be the one wearing 3D glasses) ;)

Dear Future PCMS student,
Congratulations on getting into our small community and family! All of the teachers here are kind and make sure you work smart (as Mr. Blaschke says) because it will help you when you take tests and perform your State Test. First, I will tell you about the teachers and then activities. If you are in A group like me, I start with my math teacher, Mr. Palmer. He is so funny and is a really good math teacher. He makes sure you know what you’re doing all the time. You will take individual tests and partner tests with your partner. He has a little chant that the whole class sings when it’s your birthday. Second, you would have Mr. Blaschke. He is my science teacher. He is a very strict man but he is super nice. He gives you every detail on what to do on your projects like the 3D project that my class and I just finished. He calls your tests assessments so when you hear that word, know that you are about to take a test. Then you will have a little snack break outside. Then, you will go to Mrs. Behlke. She teaches both 6th grade english and history. Sometimes you won’t do it in that exact order. She is an amazing teacher and I am so happy that I had her. We do a lot in those classes so this is me being very brief. In the middle of english and history, you will have your 30 minute lunch break. Then you get right back to class. After that you will have P.E. with both A and B group. Then you will go to your elective which is really fun. I hope you have a good first year enjoy!
Love,
Lola Lefebvre

Dear Future 6th Graders,
Here at PCMS,thing here are really fun. You will meet lots of new people, like a girl named Tori. Tori is a really nice person because she will play with you and will greet you on the first day of school. When I came here in 6th grade I was really nervous but tori helped me out by giving me a hug! You will also have nice teachers like Mr.Palmer. He like to tell jokes a lot and he show videos.THe videos are funny but the jokes are very funny (to my opinion). The is a great principal named Mr. Reid. He is very Kind and fun. Throughout the year you will have lots of electives like Art and Study Hall. I hope you have a wonderful time at PCMS.

Dear future PCMS 6th graders
At pcms you well have so much fun on the first day of school you will be nervous but you will have a great time here at pcms. PCMS isn't a very big school but if you're like me you like it cuz when it's not a very big school you get closer to a lot of people including teachers principal even students there are so many fun things we do here at pcms I don't even know where to start. one of my favorite things we do at PCMS is every three or two weeks in math we switch seats which means we get a new partner for math. One thing you can to be successful is try to come to school every day.one of my challenges at PCMS is talking while teacher is talking in the beginning of the year I used to talk all the time when my teachers were talking but now I would say I'm not talking as much or my teachers are talking.

Hey future PCMS 6th grader,
Hi I’m Abby.To be successful here the only thing that I would say to do is make sure you always have no missing work. My favorite part of 6th grade was when we went to Shady Creek. The most challenging part of 6th grade was getting to know new people. Before I came to this school I wish I knew how to type better. You type a lot in 6th grade.
Sincerely,
Abby Harrison
P.S. Don’t be afraid to not laugh at Mr. Palmers jokes.

Dear future 6th grader,
Hello for now think of me as someone you can look up to for advice, and help through your three years (2 years that I will be here for) at PCMS. Middle school is not going to be what you think, at least it wasn't like that for me. It is not like the movies, sure i'm not going to say there is no drama, but it's not like there are ever fights or anything that serious. Lockers aren't as fun as you thought they would be, even though you have these dreams of decorating your locker and using them all the time, there will be barely, I say barely any times that you will actually use them. There is not half as much homework as you would think, don't listen to the people that don't go to PCMS and tell you that there is sooo much homework, because there isn't ( and it's easy stuff). Another thing to mention you do not need a schedule; I know it's going to be somewhat difficult the first day to find your classes, but after that first day you will never use that schedule again. Lastly, don't be someone you're not, I know this sounds cheesy, but be yourself. You don't need to be popular for people to like you, this is something many people learn the hard way. Just enjoy your time here and if those pesky older kids are bugging you, just ignore them.
Your welcome,
Lilly Vasquez

Dear incoming PCMS students,
This is one of the best schools I have gone to. Hear at PCMS you are actually treated with respect like until this year I never wanted to got to school. Because at my old school they treated you like a baby and here at PCMS you are treated like a young adult. Even though you are the youngest here don’t be afraid because as long as you're nice to everybody. You will be treated with the respect that you deserve but if you treat people with little respect you will be disciplined. This is a great school if I didn’t come here I don’t know what I would have done.

Dear Future PCMS 6th grader, Welcome to PCMS the first thing you need to know is to not be afraid that you will get bad grades. Most of the teachers will help you get better grades. Second thing is not to be afraid of getting something wrong. The teachers like it when you get stuff wrong so then they can help you get the right answer. The third and final thing is to cherish your moments here because you will only be here for three years make the best of them and make sure you try your best.

Dear future PCMS 6th grade student, you’re going to love it here as long as you do what I say. Don’t worry about the fact that this is a new school for you because every other kid in your class is new too! Also, the years go by so fast, you want to make sure you’re outgoing so you can make lots of new friends before the end of the school year. By the way, don’t look at the clock in Mr. Blashke’s class and you’ll do just fine in his class. A little advice just incase you have Mr. Faith for an elective, he can be your best friend if you’re respectful but if you don’t pay attention or you’re disrespectful, he’ll scare you half to death. You don’t even need to worry about anything in particular in Mrs. Behlke’s and Mr. Palmer’s except Mr. Palmer’s dreadful jokes. Mr. Faith might seem intimidating at first but trust me, he’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The last teacher that you might have in 6th grade is Mrs. and she’s very upbeat. She makes you want to keep coming back to her class again and again.

Dear Future PCMS 6th Grader,

Advice I would give to a student entering PCMS as a 6th grader, on how to be successful would be to tell them, not talking in class, not being rude, not being loud, and not interrupting teachers. This helps them be successful because it means you are listening.

The most challenging parts of my year was math because it’s hard and tough. Science was challenging too because we had to do these hard projects, like building volcanoes, studying about how the oceans influence weather, and learning parts of a leaf. We had to look closely at leaves that Mr. Blaschke gave us, and measure them and look at the stems and veins.

I wish I would have known about how fun PCMS was before I came here. The dances that we had were fun. There were snacks and we got to dance. Flag football was fun too, and the party we had at the end at the semester when we got to watch a movie and have snacks was awesome!

Your friend michael.

Dear 6th grade students,
PCMS is the best school ever. We get to do a lot of things. Math is really fun. Mr. Palmer is our math teacher. He is really funny. For P.E. we get to do a lot of things. You will really like dodge ball. And hockey. History is fun to. You should be nice to all the teachers. Because they will be nice to you. You should also work as hard as possible to be successful.

HI!!!!!!!! Whoever you may be welcome. Listen don't be scared of Mr. Faith he will not hurt you. Don't draw sheep everywhere like Tori unless you want detontion. Don't be afraid I was but in the end this school rocks.I wish I was not scared or nerveous. This school will feel like home to you within a week. You don't want to be absent for a few reasons: 1. You will not get a prefect atendence award. 2. You miss out on an awesome day with the teachers. ( Midder P. is cool!) This is a good way to be sucsessful.

Dear future 6th grade students,
first of all you should know that PCMS is the best school ever!!! Some advise for your time at PCMS is to take advantage of your time here because it goes by sooooo fast. Some more advise for PCMS is to not be nervous, there is no point. One last tip for 6th grade is to work hard and try your best. Also, the teachers will always support you, just try your hardest and do you best. PCMS is a small community but they will become your second home, in just the first year you are there. My favorite part of sixth grade is probably the dances that the student council put on. You should always go to these they are so much fun. I have a friend that does not go to the dances and she is missing out, so don't be that person. My least favorite parts of the year probably was the end of the year because you don't get to have Mrs. Behlke anymore as your teacher. One thing that I wished I knew before I came here was my schedule, where each class was. I hope you have an amazing time at PCMS.

Dear Future PCMS Student
PCMS is the best. I even rhymed, I can’t be lyin’. So the only advice that I could give for going into PCMS, is make as many friends as possible. I came to PCMS thinking that one of my best friends, Hayden, was going to come too. But, last minute, he had to move to Washington. So this year, I encourage you to give everyone a chance. Grow your friend group as much as you can, to as many people you can. That way if you lose one, you’ll have enough to back you up. My next advice is, listen. Do your homework, do your classwork, do whatever you're supposed to do. And actually do it, too. Then, if something fun comes up at the last minute, you can go do it and not be worried in the least bit. And the teachers are only intimidating if you let them be, or if you're making them be (so just don’t be a pain). If you think of them as the most intimidating people you’ve ever met, (you won’t be thinking that, they’re great) then to you they are going to be. And if you interrupt for the stupidest things, or don’t listen (sound familiar?), they’re going to intimidate you. And the reason for that is not because they’re intimidating people, but because you’re going to know what you did wrong and feel really guilty. And no one will take enough pity on you to save you, unless they know that you can do better. Try your best to be the kid who people want to be around. Be the kid who everyone looks up to, to some degree at least, and that people will stand up for. The teachers here are great, the classes are great, they make sure class is always interesting, which is great, so just enjoy how great this school is.
Your very new very best friend,
DJ Spooky Jim

Dear future 6th graders,
This letter will be your guide for your first year at PCMS. First off, even if you dislike teachers you love the school's staff. Mr. Palmer is your math teacher and he has "funny" jokes and all sorts of fun in store for you. Next is Mr. Blaschke your science teacher who has loads of information to put in your mind. Mrs. Behlke is your history and English teacher who has the most fun with teaching. If you want to do your best at PCMS, you just need to listen to you teacher and do what you need to do. It's okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. You will love your science field trip to Shady Creek and your electives. The most challenging part of the school year in my mind is doing the history outlines without making it really long. My favorite part was going to Shady Creek and I wish I knew it would be a lot of fun before I went because I was scared of being away from home. You will love PCMS and we will be your family. See you next year!

Dear future 6th graders
In order for you to have a great first year at pcms you need to know that some of the teachers are very strict at the beginning of the year but will be nicer later on they do this so that you learn the rules quick my personally got yelled at by one of the teachers for not giving them a chance to answer a question but 3 weeks later he is one of my favorite teachers ever wish seems weird but it is true but the thing you need to keep in mind is treat the people you are around the way you would want to be treated and keep you future in cheek.

Dear future P.C.M.S. 6th grader,
Most people say junior high is a big step. At the beginning of the year that idea scared me, but now I don’t know why I was worried in the first place. At P.C.M.S the teachers don’t rush you and they help you as much as you need.
You might of heard that homework takes a big leap from elementary to middle school. Homework can be hard to catch up on, but study hall helps a lot. The teachers make sure to stay in contact so the homework isn’t piled on too high.
For P.E. it’s great to be competitive, but don’t be so competitive that your to the point of yelling. Remember to have fun.
At P.C.M.S everyone treats you like you can behave yourself, so don’t make them think that you can’t. The staff gives you freedom, but you have to show them that you can be responsible.
Now that we are wrapping up school I wonder, did I try my best? Hopefully, when you ask that yourself that question the answer will be yes.

Sincerely,
Mackenzie Pierce (future 7th grader)

Dear future PCMS students. As you walk on campus it is super awkward but the teachers are nice to you. If you are in group A you go to Mr. Palmer. Mr. Palmer will make you laugh because he plays funny videos. He is strict but nice. He teaches math. If you're not good at math you should go in the morning to see Mr.Palmer. It really helps because I had a bad grade but I went to Mr Palmer and I improved in math😎. The next is Mr. Blaschke. Mr. Blaschke is super strict. He wants you to work smart not hard. At the end of the year you do a science project which is super hard and you're going to hate it. So heads up for that. The next teacher is Mrs. Behlke. Mrs Behlke teaches English and history . English is pretty easy sometimes . You read some good and boring books. The books I liked were Wonder and Freak the Mighty. History is hard because you have to do outlines. Mr Reid is our principal. He is a good principal and he is nice too. In the spring you go to Shady Creek with Mr. Blaschke and Ms. Behlke. Shady Creek was not my favorite but you might like it. All I can say is PCMS is way harder than Elementary School and you're probably going to miss your old friends like I did but you will make new friends at PCMS.

Every year new kids join our family at pcms. Even though you get a lot of tips you don’t get all the ones you need.
First tip, try to miss as little days as possible. Missing one day of school resorts in you having about five more assignments making your life much harder.Tip two, don’t mess with karen. If you don’t listen to Karen’s pickiness then you will probably have her talk to you about how to do everything correctly. Tip three, don’t talk in Blachkie’s class. If you talk in Blachkie’s class then you will probably be kicked out of the room.
These are the tips that people don’t usually mention that are extremely important. Have a great year!

Dear future 6th grader if your coming to PCMS that was a great decision my first here was the best experience. I would warn you that this is not a school for babies or little kids they treat you like your a young adult. I thought all the classes were tough cause they are way different then elementary school that's all i have.

Dear Future Sixth Graders,
You will have so much fun here. You might be saying to yourself, “I’m so nervous to come to this school”. You really shouldn’t be though because these three years will be some of your favorite. If your scared of making new friends, don’t be afraid because you will make new friends. This was something I was nervous about but I have made some friends in just this year that will be by my side forever. You will love it here and make many new friends. Good luck!

Savannah Cole

Dear future 6th graders now that your reading this keep reading and it will help you a lot on the first day of school. On the first day of school I was really shy and afraid of the 7th and 8th graders but if a couple of weeks later I realized they were actually really nice and funny so for my advice don't be shy at all on the first day of school everyone is really nice and cool.

Dear Future PCMS 6th Grader,
To start, you better be extremely excited about coming to this school. I would say that it is the best school that you could ever go to. It is amazing! The teachers are caring, and make learning super fun. There is one major rule at PCMS, and that is to try your best. If you just pay attention and do your best, I guarantee that you will have fun and do really good in school. Seriously, all you have to do is want it, and you will get all your work done on time, and it will be your best work. You may have heard about Mr. Palmer. He will be your math teacher next year. You were probably told that he is really crazy. And while that is partly true, because he is kind of crazy, he is also a great teacher, and he is really nice. I only wish I knew that the secret to having a good time at this school is to not be shy. Although you don’t want to be too loud and open, you want to be comfortable around your classmates. So don’t be shy! You will love this incredible school, and I can’t wait to see you next year!

Mr. Palmer will be your math teacher who tells bad jokes and is really nice. Mrs Behlke is really nice and friendly she is your history and English teacher. Mr. Blaschke is your science teacher and is really nice and he loves classic music.

Dear future PCMS 6th grader, if you are reading this during the first week of school, welcome to PCMS! If you really want to be successful here there are some things you should know: 1st, work hard or “Work smart” as Mr. Blaschke, your science teacher says. 2nd, DO NOT MESS WITH MR. FAITH if you do your life as a student here will be miserable, but you don’t have him as a teacher unless you take one of his electives like photography (Which I suggest you take, it was one of my favorite electives.) There isn’t anything that I had wished I had known, at least not that I can remember. Good luck at PCMS!

When you sit in Mr. Balashkes do not back talk him that is one of his pet peeves. Blog #28
Dear Future 6th Graders,
Pcms is a challenging, fun, and amazing school. The teachers here are absolutely wonderful and amazing people. The principal Mr. Reid also is one of the most kind, nice, and coolest person I know. Here is some advice for next year when you are at this school. When you are learning always try because the teachers are trying really hard for you to learn and if you aren't trying and not paying attention you won't learn. Some more advice is if you ever need help with something in class just ask the teacher, they will help you, they also would take their own time after school to help you. One of my most challenging things at Pcms is probably essays and the state testing. One of my favorite thing is probably the teachers.

Dear future PCMS sixth grader,
I am grateful to turn this very boring blog into a learning experience for you (I am so just kidding, I love doing blogs). So, since the blog requires this, here is some of my advice to you:
Don’t be that gossipy type to make yourself look good. And, I know that you have heard this all your life from past teachers, but, it’s serious. Where do you get in life with it? Did Abraham Lincoln stop slavery by pointing out that Sally dresses weird? Just respect your peers and don’t be the popular jerk. Be popular because no one has anything bad to say about you, not because you know how to entertain people with gossip or you do everything that’s “in.”
Don’t be afraid to ask anybody anything. A group of teachers may look intimidating, or a group of kids may make you feel self conscious. We are like a big family though, really. You will soon feel just as comfortable as us and know just as much about dress code, rules and expectations etc.
My favorite part of the six grade year here was my experience at Shady Creek. I am too lazy to explain what that is, besides, you’ll hear PLENTY about it. I know that some of my classmates did not enjoy it, maybe because it wasn’t what they expected; but, I loved the camp like field trip away from my brothers.
In my opinion, the first few weeks at pcms are the hardest times. Not JUST because of learning that EVERYTHING is done on chromebooks, but because of adjusting to new people and teachers.
Whatever your thoughts, negative or positive, I guarantee that if you don’t end up liking PCMS, you are the problem, not us. ;) bye honeys!

Dear Future PCMS 6th grader,
Well you made it! Welcome to Paradise Charter Middle School and congrats on winning the lottery. Well now that that's over I just wanted to give you some pointers and what not about how to be successful and what to do here. So first something I wish I had known about before I came here is, how much love and encouragement that this school gives you. When I first came here I was scared about going to a new school, meeting new people, and having a completely new layout of the daily schedule. Now I knew that some of my old friends were going to this school so I was happy about that but still I was scared. Soon after a couple of days I was making new friends, working hard, and no longer scared. The teachers and other students all helped me get used to the new school. When the year comes to a close you will find that the entire school as a whole, has become one big community. Now back to introducing you to this awesome school. The big thing that you will learn is that, to be successful here you just need to be yourself and work hard. Now some things I loved during the school year was all the cool things we did in class and all the new things I learned. Another great thing here is the trip to shady creek. Now don’t get me wrong I liked shady creek but I was still very homesick the whole time, but don’t worry towards the end of the week you start getting used to it and start having the real fun. (Ps be aware of “Fun Night” it's loud and fun but kinda weird o-0.) Another challenge I had during my time as a 6th grader was getting the blogs turned in on time. Even I as i'm writing this one I am turning it in late lol. Now It's not hard to turn them in on time but I just always forgot essentially after the two week long one. Anyway no longer talking about my failures, let me finish this long writing and tell you that I wish you the best of luck with 6th grade here at Pcms. And don’t worry you will have a blast here, I just know you will!!!! - TJ Newsom

Dear future 6th grade students
First of all welcome to PCMS. You are very lucky you got pulled in the lottery. At PCMS you need to work hard and never give up on what you are doing. Since you are beginning middle school
It's hard to change from elementary. There's a lot of homework when you get into middle school you get boat loads of homework. My suggestion is to stay constantly on your homework so you don't get behind. Even if you are doing sports it helps to finish your homework when you get it. Homework is the most struggle and if you get behind on homework you get to miss fun activities. I think that you will love PCMS. Good luck!!

Blog #1

In this blog I am going to be telling you about what my three favorite books of all time. One of the books that I have read is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.k. Rowling. It has been my favorite series so far.  I have also read The Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney and Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell.
Dork Diaries, I liked this book because there was tons of drama. My favorite part of the book is when girls went over to Mack’s  house and started toilet papering Mack’s house with in secret almost the whole school knew and Mack was still clueless.
Diary of A Wimpy Kid was very interesting because there was some fighting and getting bullied. These kids never fit in, they felt like the school year wasn’t going good for them so they thought they should try to be like everyone else. It wasn’t my favorite book to read so I started another series which brings me to Harry Potter.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban was one of the most interesting books I’ve read. The book had so much detail that it really makes you feel like you are in the story.  The Harry Potter series keeps my interest and makes me want to continue reading.
