I watched a video in class about a kid named Jason Mcelwains, who was a kid with autisum and was the maneger of the school’s basketball team. One game his coach let him put on a jersy and play for his last basketball team of the school year. One thing I learned from Jason Mcelwains, is that if you try hard and never give up you can make it. Llike when Jason made the three point shots, he did not just make one, he made twenty that made everyone proud and that means if you keep trying you can make it.

Jason Mcelwain has autism and wants to play basketball but his coach doesn't let him play because of his autism. So he helps his coach teach the high school basketball . He is also in high school and loves basketball , he was never in a game but he always helps the players with getting their water and wiping of their sweat. Jason’s virtues are patient, enthusiastic and happy. The coach told Jason that he could put a jersey on,but that didn't mean that he could play, the coach shouted his number and he went on the basketball field. First he missed the first shot then the second, but he didn’t give up then the third shot, he did a three pointer and then again and again the crowded cheered Jason did it!

Jason McElwain is a highschool student with autism. He enjoys basketball and is a team manager for his school's basketball team. Jason is enthusiastic. He shows that by cheering on and encouraging his team in every game. Even when they lose he's still cheering and encouraging his team. He also has a cool choach for letting him put a jersey on and play in the game. The coach might of put him in for many reasons. One of the reasons being he was very persistent. He showed that by even when he didn't play for over 2 years he didn't give up. Even though he didn't get to play he still came to practice everyday just to help the team out.I think videos like this help remind us to include others and sometimes when given an opportunity people can sucede above there expectations.

Jason McElwain is a kid that is autistic. He is a manager for a basketball team and had never played in a game. Something we can learn from this video is that you can do anything if you never give up. For example the kid had always loved basketball and when he was allowed to play he missed the first two shots then he kept scoring one after another until the final shot he scored at the end of the timer and everybody cheered for him. He had missed the first two shots and because he didn’t give up, he kept going and won the game for his team. So because he didn’t give up he won the game, that is what I think we can learn from Jason McElwain’s story. That you should never give up and try your hardest.

Jason McElwain is a high school boy who has autism and tried to make a basketball team but never did. Jason was the coach's helper who loves basketball. One day he actually gets to play, but misses twice in the real game. After those misses he actually made six shots and the crowd went wild.

Jason McElwain has supported his high school basketball team for years, and he has a lot of enthusiasm. He is very good at giving pep talks and getting the team ready for games. On the last game of the season, the coach decided to let Jason put on a jersey and sit on the bench with the players. Jason was really excited about this, but the coach went one step further and, in the last few minutes of the game, he put Jason in. Jason missed the first two times, but then he got six baskets in a row.

Jason is an autistic Basketball coach assistant. He was aloud to suit up in basketball uniform to get him to know the feeling of being a player on the team. But then the coach pointed to him to signal him to play. With 4 minutes left. He mist the first and second shot. His third shot he made a 3 pointer. He made six 3 pointers which he almost made 20 points but he got 18. Every 3 pointer he made, made crowd got crazier. He made a buzzer shot then the teams crowded around him as the crowd did to.

There is a boy named Jason Mcelwain who loves basketball and never made any of the teams he tried out for. In the last game of the season something amazing happened the coach was just going to let him dress up and feel the way the basketball players felt so he did but with 4 minutes left he actually let him play. In his own words he said it was “hot as a pistol”. The lesson that can be learned is that you can overcome any opcicle that's in front of you. Jason having autism is a big obstacle in life but he never let it stand in his way. He loved the game of basketball and he never stopped trying.

Jasson Mcelwain is a otistaic boy who lived in New York and went to a high school he loved basketball a lot but he could never make the team. Not because he was different but the coach let him help out the team and be the water boy but also help the other boys in a pracitec he would come to all of the games and cheer the boys on and tell them what they were doing wrong he knew a lot about basketball more than the players did so we were like the second coach. But at the last game of their high school craer the coach let him be uniform just to see how it felt but he wasn’t going to put him in the game. Then he did the first shot was a side shot on the right side but he airballed the second was a three and missed again. Then he made six threes in a row the crowd went wild on all of the shots. Jasson is a very confident person for going out there and trying his best on his first two shots but he didn’t give up, he kept trying then he made all of the rest of his shots. He is a very uplifting person to go to there pracites every day to help the boys out even though he wasn’t playing is pretty amazing and in one of the pictures he was all dressed up but just as excited for the team maybe even more. For being otistaic he is a well raised kid and a lot of people should learn from Jasson Mcelwain’s story.

Jason is a person who never played basketball but he liked it he would be like a coach to the players so the coach made a plan to suit Jason up to wear basketball clothes for their last game but at the last few Minutes they put Jason in the game the first shot he took he air balled it then he shot it again I made a 3-pointer and the whole crowd goes crazy they were all screaming and stuff and like he kept on going and he kept on making the three pointers and make the whole crowd would go crazy and from seeing that video if it made me feel like if you have special ed in anything of that it doesn't mean you're not like others we are all the same and that is it for this blog.

Jason McElwain was born with autism. He loved basketball but did not make the team. So he stayed and helped at practice like give water to the players, towel of sweat, and motivate the team. And at the finale game coach Jonson let Jason wear a uniform but not play. But that's what people thought but at the last four minutes coach Jonson pointed to number 52 Jason. His first shot missed his second shot miss but his third shot was a know doubt three pointer that game he made six three pointers twenty points in all. Jason all was felt different but not that different. Jason was a big inspiration to me.

Jason McElwain is a boy in high school boy with autism, he tried out for a basketball team he didn't make the team but the coach let him be a manager to help out the team. For the last season the coach let him suit up. Then with four minutes left in the game coach Jonson stood up pointed to number fifty-two which is Jason. He misses two shots and then he ends up shooting six three pointers right after each other that got his team twenty points. The crowd got a little more crazy after every basket. The last basket right at the buzzer created total mayhem. Jason says “he is used to feeling different but not that different.” Jason McElwain showed great leadership by not letting his disabilities get in the way of the game.

Jason McElwain is in high school and tried out every year for basketball but didn’t get on the team so he helps out with the team and brings them water and other stuff needed. He also goes to every game and practice. In the last game of the season his coach let him were a real jersey and ended up playing in the game. He got the ball shot missed got the ball again missed then he got the ball and shot and made it he got the ball 6 more times and made them all. I learned from this story that if you give up then you won’t achieve that goal.

Jason McElwain is a special ED kid with autism. Jason McElwain was devoted to basketball but had a little trouble so he was the coach’s assistant and later on he was an actual player that made his team win. So Jason had inspired me that if you have a disability that it’s not impossible to change. The determination in him, His energy, His enthusiasm was just amazing that I was inspired a lot. Jason McElwain is showing that even the toughest times that anything is possible. He is amazing! I was inspired by him that he showed me that nothing is impossible!
